The Anne Toms� Yarmouth Gallery is a small and stylish exhibition space located at the heart of the ancient town of Yarmouth, at the westerly corner of the beautiful Isle of Wight.
Lis Toft
Lis Toft is a ceramics artist living in Totland Bay, Isle of Wight. She studied at Bath Academy and has a BA in Fine Art. She produces wheel thrown decorative porcelain and specializes in porcelain jewellery. The sparkle of glass is juxtaposed with the subtlety of matt porcelain to create equisite and unusual jewellery. The 'Old Lace' range is embossed using antique lace, contemporary jewellery evolving from a salvaged fragment of the past. Fittings are silver. Work is fired in an electric kiln at 1260c for oxidisation, or gas kiln at 1270c for reduction.
