Copper Chicken is the name Alison attaches to her work. A three dimensional design graduate, Alison makes small sculptural but functional pieces from copper, wood, steel and wire, which she manipulates, welds and decorates, often with fired enamel and adding, beads and beach finds or combining with fabrics such as silk. The outcomes are highly original clocks, fish and boat sculptures and hangings.
