Homeward Bound

Cormorants fly low above the sea, late in the day, back to their roosting place at the Needles, a timeless scene, witnessed many times by many generations of sea watchers and one I find curiously poignant. Oil on stretched canvas 135 cm x 45cm. This is one of several of my paintings currently hanging at Yarmouth Gallery.
