WOOD

Adam Lafosse

Hand Turned Bowls

Adam is on a mission to track down and rescue interesting pieces of woods such as ash, walnut and field maple, in the Hampshire countryside, preserving something from nature that would otherwise rot away. Pieces are initially rough-turned while the wood is still wet, then left to dry for many months before being turned again, polished and sealed.

Tim Foxall

Hardwood Kitchen Spatulas

With a background in the creation of wooden toys, games and puppets, Tim started 'The Spatularium' in 2010 inspired by a wooden off-cut a cello-maker friend gave him, which 'looked like a duck'. His humorous, quirky designs are all handmade by Tim and his team in rural west Northumberland, using local hardwoods where possible and oiled with Northumberland beeswax.
