Martin Swan at Yarmouth Gallery

Spent some time this morning with Martin hanging this 48" x 36" painting. It was a bit of a struggle as it is painted on board and quite weighty but well worth the effort. 'Green Boat at the Causeway, Freshwater' is so full of sunlight and fresh air it belies it's physical weight. Unusually for Martin, it is an acrylic.

Martin also brought two more small paintings, oils on stretched canvas and very easy to hang, a blessing as the gallery was filling with people by then. The paintings look wonderful: each radiating its own serene light.
