Mirror Images
'Gothic' architectural mirror frames designed by Julian Parker are a modern take on a familiar feature of so many of our much loved old buildings. Free-standing or wall hung, some have crevices for candles or tea lights. Perfect for lighting up a dark corner. The largest are around 23" x 10" and the smallest 11" x 7". Cloudscape, Yarmouth Harbour
Before the heatwave, there was a period of rapidly changing cool weather here in the South when great swathes of cumulus cloud built, cloud on cloud to fill the sky. This painting, now hanging in Yarmouth Gallery is one of a whole series of cloud paintings I have been working on. Here I am, hanging my 'Cloudscape, Yarmouth Harbour' at Yarmouth Gallery, one of the first of a series in which the clouds have become the main subject. It is an oil on stretched canvas.
